  31. Before you do more troubleshooting, make sure you are using the latest 
  32. controller firware. Use ATI3 to query your version. If you see anything 
  33. older than 1.400, you better upgrade.

  35. log into any manufacturer's BBS that uses Rockwell chips on their product 
  36. and download the latest firmware. You will either have to hage a flash on 
  37. board or an ability to erase and burn the PROM (schools have such things).

  39. a host software change should not cause a disconnect. Furthermore, to the 
  40. modem it does not really matter what software is on the terminal as long as 
  41. both are set up properly. Try to set the modem to AT&D0 to make the modem 
  42. disregard the drop of DTR, set both the terminal and modem to the same type 
  43. of flow control (AT&K command).
